Tennon rents his house from Mario Fernandez, the new husband of Brydgan’s ex-wife Shanna. The couple sold the home in October 2022 — eight months after the murder and three months after Tennon was arrested on unrelated gun charges.

According to sheriff’s records, Tennon was arrested in August on an unrelated gun charge. He will appear before a judge tomorrow on a murder charge.

‘We know that Henry Tennon did not act alone,’ State’s Attorney Melissa Nelson said at a press conference today.

Brydgan died on February 16, 2022, while driving from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, to St. Augustine after dropping off her nine-year-old twins with their mother. His two-year-old daughter Bexley was in the car at the time.

Tennon, in the previous mugshot, has a long arrest record. His past crimes include several serious traffic violations such as driving with a suspended license, as well as misdemeanor assault and domestic violence charges.

Tennon is serving a life sentence for second degree murder. Prosecutors announced today that the case will go to a grand jury, and they expect it to be elevated to a charge of first-degree murder.

In addition to conspiracy to commit murder and second-degree murder, Tennon has been charged with child abuse. This stemmed from the fact that Brydgan’s two-year-old daughter was in the vehicle when it was struck.

Tennon was arrested last August by the same police department on charges of possession of a weapon and driving without a license, despite being a convicted felon.

His past crimes include multiple felony driving violations such as driving with a suspended license and domestic violence charges.

His arrest record dates back to the mid-1990s.

The murder was planned to take place in a stretch of residential street where there were no surveillance cameras or Ring doorbell cameras.

Brydgan and his predecessors, The couple, 35, divorced in 2016 but were still arguing over finances and custody at the time of his death.

Last year, his widow, Kirsten Brydgan, was told to remain silent about who she believed might have killed him.

She did not allow her twins to attend the memorial service organized by her family for Brydgan, and instead hosted her own farewell for them.

Brydgan’s widow Kirsten told DailyMail.com in an interview last April that he had ‘no enemies – for the most part’.

After his death, Shanna and her new partner — 33-year-old Mario Fernandez — moved across the country from Florida to Washington state.

It is unclear how she and Mario met. He had previously been reported to the police for animal abuse, having shot and killed a cat with a BB gun.

DailyMail.com tracked the pair in the months following Jared’s death.

Shanna, now covered in tattoos, was stoic and refused to comment on the case.

Last April, Kirsten – Jared’s second wife – would not dwell on whether there had been any problems between Jared and his ex-wife, who is remarried and runs a local baking business.

‘I certainly don’t feel like this is the time or place for me to discuss someone else’s relationship. I know the kind of relationship I had with him and I miss it.

‘My husband was a very well-liked person in most of his life. He went above and beyond for friends, neighbors, kids.

He said that ‘for the most part’, he had no enemies. They were married for four years and met on a dating app.

It has since been claimed that the marriage ended when Shanna had an affair with her personal trainer.

He denied that claim, but Trainor says their relationship became romantic.

Seven years before his death, in 2015, she asked someone at a local tattoo parlor if they knew anyone who could help ‘silence her husband’.

She insisted that it was in jest, and that she did not mean any threat by it.
