In one of his final interviews, Lance Reddick detailed the backstory of his “John Wick” character Sharon.
The late “Wire” alum died of unknown causes on March 17th. In an interview with New Screen His Runt released the day before his death, Reddick said that the fourth “John Wick” film would be the Continental Hotel’s connection between his manager Winston and concierge Sharon, played by Ian McShane. Reddick added that co-star Reeves wrote him a note saying, “Thank you for what I brought to the characters in these films,” adding, “I will never forget it. I’m about to cry.”
Reddick’s filmography includes appearances in ‘The Wire’, ‘Oz’, ‘Lost’, and the films ‘Resident Evil’ and ‘Corporate’. Appeared in all four John Wick movies.
