Residents of a Northeast Los Angeles neighborhood have been irked by a string of paid food deliveries that have been showing up on doorsteps despite not having been ordered.

Los Angeles Times reported this week Residents of Range View Avenue in the Highland Park neighborhood are getting delivery of chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, pastries, coffee and other items they’ve never ordered from food delivery services like Uber Eats.

Unsolicited delivery began in February, and a handful told the Times they sometimes received multiple orders per day. It is unclear whether the order is a scam or a prank of some sort.

Residents say that either due to lack of address or the delivery drivers are using the names of other people, the delivery drivers are not able to provide much information about who is placing the order.

Unsolicited deliveries have been going on since February and some residents are uneasy about the sender’s intentions.
