In this article, you will get all the information regarding “Ted Lasso” EP Bill Lawrence Calls Season 3 “F**king Awesome”
Teddy Lasso Season 3 is coming to AppleTV+ this spring, and Executive Producer Bill Lawrence is already making big promises. What can fans expect in the new episodes? And will this season be the end of the series? Here’s what we know so far Teddy Lasso Season 3.
Mid-January – a full year and a half after AppleTV+ died Teddy Lasso Season 2 finale – the streamer finally released some information about the upcoming third season.
They dropped a first-look photo showing Jason Sudeikis’ titular character face-to-face with the series’ new villain, Nathan Shelley (Nick Mohammed). Standing between the two is another series villain who looks set to get more screen time in Season 3, Rupert (Anthony Head).
Fans will recall that at the end of season two, Nathan turned to the dark side after his disappointments and frustrations led him to reveal Ted’s panic attacks to the media. In the closing moments of the second season finale, it was revealed that Nate had left Ted’s coaching staff in Richmond to join forces with Rupert and coach his West Ham club.
AppleTV+ hasn’t revealed the exact date when the first episodes of Season 3 will drop, but we do know the timeframe will be in the spring. That means the series will come out in time for the Emmy competition this year.
During a recent shrinkage body, per deadline, Teddy Lasso EP Bill Lawrence and star Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent) spoke briefly to the media about the upcoming season. Neither revealed details, but they were full of praise for the new season and the star Sudeikis.
“I’ve seen cuts of the show and I think they’re freaking awesome,” Lawrence said, with Goldstein adding, “I love it.”
Sudeikis – who helped create Teddy Lasso with Lawrence, Joe Kelly and Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard) – originally planned that the series should last only three seasons. However, given the show’s unexpected success with both fans and critics, it’s possible plans have changed. There is no confirmation yet that Season 3 will be the last.
While the fans are waiting for the new season of Teddy Lasso, there are some other good shows on the streamer for you to check out. One of our favorites here at Cheat Sheet is severance paydating Adam Scott Parks and Recreation.
From director Ben Stiller, severance pay is a psychological thriller that follows a group of office workers who volunteered for the surgical procedure. That means they have two memories and two separate lives – one at work and one at home.
Black bird is an Apple TV+ limited series starring Taron Egerton, Paul Walter and the late Ray Liotta. It’s a drama about a high school football hero and son of a cop who ends up in a minimum security prison and is serving a 10-year sentence. He is offered a chance at freedom if he is willing to enter a maximum security prison and get a confession from a suspected serial killer whose case is being appealed.
The comedy prey follows billionaire Molly Novak (Maya Rudolph) as she publicly hits rock bottom after her husband cheated on her. When she finds out there is a charity in her name, she decides to give back rather than give up.
